Nancy Martin’s Book Launch for A LITTLE NIGHT MURDER

Come join author Nancy Martin and the Pittsburgh Sisters In Crime as we celebrate the launch of the 10th book in the popular Blackbird Sisters mystery series.  A portion of the book sales from the event will go to the Homeless Children’s Education Fund.  (http://homelessfund.org)

Annette Dashofy’s Book Launch for LOST LEGACY

Come join author Annette Dashofy and the Pittsburgh Sisters in Crime as we celebrate the launch of the 2nd book in the Zoe Chambers series.

OCTOBER 10-12, 2014 – WRITING RETREAT 

BISHOP CONNARE CENTER, GREENSBURG 

Schedule Now to attend the Annual Pittsburgh SinC Retreat with workshop leader Tamara Girardi.

Cost for full weekend: $192.  Day PASS for Saturday only: $72.

Space is limited to approximately 17, and the first payment is due June 30. See payment information below.

INCLUDES:

Full weekend cost includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast, and single room Friday and Saturday night.

Saturday Day-Pass includes Saturday lunch.

SCHEDULE (Subject to Slight Change):

Friday night: Discussion of “Reading Like Writers.”

Saturday morning: “Writer’s Boot Camp” using materials provided in advance.

Saturday afternoon: Private writing time.

Saturday evening:  Open Mic Night for attendees who wish to read their own work aloud for the group. Plus relaxation and camaraderie.

Sunday morning:  Discussion of carrying skills/ideas home to motivate ongoing writing.

PAYMENT

Because a partial payment is due to Bishop Connare this summer, we are asking those planning to attend for an initial payment on June 30, with two additional payments later in the summer.  You can pay through PayPal to pghsinc@gmail.com or send a check payable to Pittsburgh Sisters in Crime,  P.O. Box 207, Ingomar, PA 15127.  You can also pay in full on June 30, if you find that more convenient.

June 30:     Full weekend: $64        Day Pass: $24

July 30:      Full weekend:  $64        Day Pass:  $24

August 29: Full weekend: $64       Day Pass:  $24
